Enjoy a stroll through Bethlehem’s Christkindlmarkt, followed by a tin Christmas ornament casting and Christmas card making.

Schedule

10:00am-1:00pm We will kick off the day with a morning stroll through Christkindlmarkt (optional).

1:00pm-2:00pm Lunch will be provided by AWMI at the National Museum of Industrial History conference room. We will also provide AWMI Mid-Atlantic Chapter updates.

2:00pm-4:00pm Craft making of Tin Casted Christmas Ornament and Christmas Card

• Parking: FREE at PNC Plaza SteelStacks at 645 East 1st St, Bethlehem, PA 18015. Patrons can park for free in the adjacent lots on First Street.
• Family, friends & children are welcomed to participate in crafts with purchase of event ticket. If they are not participating in crafts they are welcomed to watch. Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian. 
• For tin casting, we will be using a lead pot to melt the tin. Tools will include welding gloves and safety glasses when pouring, rubber gloves when working with the sand, and wood and metal handheld rods for sand ramming. Once tin has cooled and solidified, we will use snips and files to remove and deburr the ornaments to take home. Museum supervision and directions will be provided.
